Dropped university to build his first startup.
Venture studio with a diversified portfolio of startups built in house.

Our Manifesto
Skin in every venture.
We don't manage other people's funds. Every venture in our portfolio has our capital, our expertise, and our team's time invested. Sometimes we lead. Sometimes we partner. But if investors come in, they come in alongside us, our skills, and our own necks on the line.
Diversification by design.
Our portfolio spans multiple sectors, from healthy food to retail AI, from energy consulting to vertical SaaS. We calibrate our stake based on where we add the most value. Every venture is independent, focused, and designed to grow. Investors get exposure to tech without betting the farm.
Built in the South. Reaching further.
Anabasis is based in Southern Italy. Our team is here, our craft is here, our roots are here. Our ventures are already serving 1.5 million users across Europe and beyond. Geography hasn't stopped us. It's just made us sharper about what matters.
Strive for perfection, but ship today.
We launch our ventures as soon as they're useful, not when they feel perfect. Real feedback shapes real products. We rebuild with what users tell us, and we do it faster than most teams. That's why our ventures keep getting better, year after year.
Five ventures.
Five different proofs.
Our portfolio isn't a collection of similar bets. Each company solves a different problem, serves a different market, and demonstrates a different capability of our team. Together, they show what we can do, how we think, and why we're different from funds that just write checks.
AI meeting industrial reality — Retail computer vision
Where AI meets industrial reality.
Italian retail loses over 6 billion euros per year to inventory shrinkage. Blindzone uses proprietary computer vision to turn existing store cameras into real-time theft prevention systems. Privacy-compliant by design.
When we say we do AI, we mean AI solving 6-billion-euro problems. Not AI chasing hype.
Leaving our comfort zone — D2C premium goods
Proof we're not trapped by our own playbook.
Everyone assumes a venture builder sticks to tech. We launched a premium puzzle brand in 2023, partnered with 40+ international artists, and entered the U.S. market in 2025 with 100+ puzzles sold in the first two days on Puzzledly.
Sometimes the best opportunity isn't in your category. StoPuzzle is the proof we can leave it and make it work.

Running the playbook in reverse — D2C food brand
Running the Italian food playbook in reverse.
Italian food brands traditionally start in supermarkets and later experiment online. ChocoZero did the opposite: we built a sugar-free chocolate brand purely online, reached nearly 1 million in yearly D2C revenue, and only now are entering retail with customers who already ask for us on the shelf.
That's not luck. That's what unit economics look like when you actually know what you're doing.
Data as the real AI moat — Telemedicine
The AI moat is the data, not the model.
Most AI startups will lose their differentiation within 24 months. Camylo won't, because its value compounds with every patient record added. A telemedicine platform that archives medical documentation from birth, translates care histories across languages, and becomes indispensable precisely because it holds years of your health data.
Once a family has years of medical history on Camylo, switching cost becomes infinite. That's defensibility in an AI-commoditized world.

How we build.
A venture studio isn't a fund with a design team. It's a team that builds, ships, listens, and decides. Here's how we actually work.
Ideas don't arrive. They get heard.
Our ventures come from three places: a market signaling a gap, a lesson learned inside one of our existing startups, or a problem someone on the team is living personally. We don't run ideation workshops. We listen to what's already trying to be said.
Sometimes the market speaks. Sometimes another venture speaks. Sometimes a personal problem speaks. Only those who know how to listen get the answer.
Ship it. Or kill it.
Every idea gets our own capital, our own team, and a finite window to prove it works. We don't polish for months before showing it to users. We build a working product, put it in front of real people, and let the feedback shape the next version.
If it doesn't reach validation, we kill it without ceremony. That's how the surviving ventures become strong.
The team flows where the venture needs it.
We don't assign fixed teams to fixed startups. Our people move across ventures based on the phase each company is in: design-heavy at launch, engineering-heavy at scale-up, marketing-heavy at distribution.
This is why one team can run a full portfolio without burning out. Specialization matters. Adaptability wins.
Two ways to invest with us.
When you invest in Anabasis, you invest in the whole portfolio, proportionally exposed to the risk and capital of each venture. When a single venture is validated and ready to scale, we open a dedicated round on that company alone.
The first gives you diversification with our skin in the game. The second gives you concentration on a proven thesis. Both always go in alongside us.
The team behind the work.
Nine people. One team. No hierarchy in how we sweat.
Dropped university because of Nicola.
Dropped university because of Nicola and Francesco.
The only man you can trust your life with.
Built our branding as his final university exam. We had to hire him.
If someone can make you excited to open a promotional email, it's her.
One good brand is luck. Ten excellent brands is talent.
Silently building the hardest features while staring at you threateningly.
From France with experience. Raves and technical skill included.
A leader in Italian direct-to-consumer selling chose to back us before the pitch.
A career built on scaling global consumer brands, now quietly with us.
Invest alongside the builders.
We're opening capital in Anabasis holding. One entry point, exposure to the whole portfolio, proportional to the risk and capital of each venture. Diversification with our skin in the game.
Investors who recognize the difference.
Our first backers have personally invested in European acceleration funds like WiseGuys in the past. They know what early-stage quality looks like, and they chose to put capital directly into us instead.
We're now talking to family offices, growth equity, private equity lower mid-market, and serial entrepreneurs who understand that a venture studio with a real portfolio is a different animal from a classical fund.
